I had problems with belly fat a few months ago because I neglected my body by not exercising properly, eating the wrong kind of food and partying too much. When I finally realized my folly, I had to work very hard to bring back my body, especially my belly to its former ripped state.

Your body gets neglected when you spend too much time at work and very less time for yourself. I don’t blame you. In this economy, we need to work much harder to earn a living. I’m suggesting that you start lifting weights. This applies for both men and women. Lifting weights can help to build muscles and increase the strength for your entire body. This type of training will require you to use your abs to support the heavy weights and indirectly reduce your waistline.
Start eating healthy food – Eating burgers and french fries won’t help you to reduce your belly fat. To lose that fat, try to eat whole and unprocessed foods such as meat, poultry, eggs, spinach, broccoli,cabbage, banana,apple, fish oil, flax seeds, brown rice, and whole grain pasta.
Avoid spot reduction – Remember those crunch machines that help you to lose belly fat? They don’t work. Spot reduction is a myth. Crunches can cause a whole lot of other problems such as lower back pain, slouching shoulder, and forward head posture (which won’t make you look good).
Drink less alcohol – You don’t need to stop drinking, just reduce the amount. If you are a daily beer drinker then you need to change. Try to limit drinking only during weekends and reduce the intake.
Do not starve yourself - In other words, eat more! Starvation diet can cause your body to function incorrectly because your body needs food for energy, to maintain muscle and to lose fat.
